Surprised...

Okay, I admit it... if I were there, I probably wouldn't be breaking this ground either... but, today Nikken is revealing another product as part of their Wellness Home offerings and I am surprised that word of what the product is can't be found yet on the internet... I've opted to not make the 4 hour drive to my nearest product launch event and was hoping to learn what it is... and, when you log in and see how many easy ways there are to blog about something like this, I was surprised that simple searches didn't reveal any news. Don't any Nikken Independent Consultants use an iPhone or any other phone they could post from?

Ahh... yet another frontier to be approached.

Peace,
Graham

Do you Squidoo?

Squidoo, and their Lens, is an interesting component to add to an online marketing arsenal. I had heard of Squidoo, but only recently began using it. One aspect that I found intriguing is that it taps into, or purports to, aspects of web design that Google uses to scan the web for interesting search content. Another is that it provides daily rankings of your Squidoo Lens and coaches you on ways to improve your ranking through SquidU. So, you can continue to tweak your site and see your ranking improve. This I consider to be a direct path towards real eyeballs looking at your lens (and not just you!).

Voice and the SL Wellness Preview!

I finally did it! I gave my Wellness Preview to a small audience (of 1!) last night  and the results were spectacular. In the last week, relevant business content has been added to the product discussion... Why didn't I lead with the business right away? Shyness is probably one reason; another would be that it's taken time in my schedule to get this presentation composed and just writing up the product side of the presentation was consuming enough. It also provided me with what I needed to begin sharing in Second Life. Like Mike Litman says, you don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going!
Last night, I shared my presentation with someone for the second time. It was his first time reading the business portion of the presentation and we both found that adding voice gave us a chance to discuss things in addition to the core, scripted text presentation. We both clicked on and followed a particular link together, regarding a product offering that wasn't in the presentation. This level of interactivity was in real-time, supplanting the physical (and costly) distribution of literature, or having to wait until after the meeting.
