Wellness Preview now in SL!

Okay, this is pretty cool... I am now delivering Wellness Previews, in the spirit of many I've been to in real life, in Second Life! I recognize that my posts have been few this year; my frequency plummeted when I discovered SL in January, dwindling to nothing by Feb/Mar.

Second Life is addicting, if you like it at all... I immediately felt it was a space where I could take my Network Marketing virtual, but I've been too busy dancing all year! In early November, I began to compile an actual presentation that I could deliver to avatars in SL.

So far, so good... I've not given a presentation to an empty room, except for once when I had technical hiccups and didn't bother to go on and invite people. So, everyday, for the better part of the last 1.5 weeks, I've been sharing the products of my company to people. It's been far easier and direct than in real life. I can continue to craft my message and there is a consistency to it that is hardly achievable in real life.

The beauty is, this is RL! I am discussing products, giving people live links to my replicated website, suggesting what to do next, etc. And, if someone would like to attend, a 30 second notice is usually all it takes! Try that in the real world where people need to plan and drive and take time out of their busy schedule!

I'll touch on this more, but for now just wanted to get a post up...

Cheers,
Graham

On the Road Again...

I am writing this from a PC in an AutoCAD training I am attending in Denver. The real point, in my mind, is that I am accessing the blog tool from anywhere... what I call "location free." The coming wave is the ability to stay connected almost irregardless of your/my location. However, I am not thinking it would be cool to be a slave to devices, as was referred to at lunch today when the person I was eating with was checking for messages on his phone. No, rather I am thinking making a meaningful blog entry, holding a Second Life meeting, doing a video conference or teleconference from nearly anywhere and then going skiing, going on a hike, going to your next errand or lunch meeting or the gym; and doing this from anywhere in the country!

This is my first entry in over 8 months. What have I been doing? Working and goofing off in Second Life. But, I am prepared to follow through on many of the ideas touched on when I began this blog. Stay tuned!

Cheers,
Graham
