Web Logs, Blogs, can be a foundational backbone to an organization. One other tool, likely to be used by leaders as a vehicle offered to those seeking information and leadership development, is Podcasting. For me, I have a vision of a new type of lifestyle spent on the road, living free of common social norms. This life will be powered by the internet and available tools, giving unprecedented power to users. This is not news. However, this blog is a big picture painter and I feel this is part of the big picture. If you will, please click on this Web Seminar by Apple about how to create your own quality podcast. During the seminar, you'll see how easy it can be to create your own audio podcast. One of the most impressive tips I heard was that you might want to consider formatting your show so consistency informs the subscriber in advance of what your general show will be like. Gosh, that was only one of many great tips. Go, see for yourself.
A lot has been happening lately and I'll admit that I have missed a couple of opportunities to post entries. I remain committed to the creation of useful online and offline systems for organizational development. Only two days ago did I speak with a gentleman who announced to me that his company had achieved 400% growth in the past year. Phenomenal, in my opiinion. So, that begged the question, "What happened?" He replied that the difference was the development of systems that could cause, sell and handle growth. It took systems. These initial posts are the seeds I am planting so there is some theme to this work. However, once this is unleashed on a knowing public, the concepts developed around this space will be extremely democratic. Anyone who participates in this space will be able to comment on and contribute to the idea process. Imagine a dynamic space where "systems engineers," plagued by the question, "How do you ethically grow an independent Wellness Consultancy business through the implementation of point-and-click tooling?" gather and knock out various answers to that question. Heck, even the question itself is open to reframing.
Well, I should get working on my first Podcast!
Happy Holidays,
Graham Skardon

Att: Movers and Shakers
I just finished a great bike ride, followed by a nice dinner and conversation about Internet marketing with one of the first friends I made after moving to Seattle three and a half years ago. A former longtime Microsoft employee, two years ago he introduced me to the coolest voice recognition product I had ever seen, which he was the primary developer of. Well, ready to move on, he left Microsoft and joined a venture and they recently introduced his first product for the famous Blackberry: Journal Bar. I don't use a Blackberry but know many who do and this is a very cool product. Journal Bar shows weather forecasts, satellite weather images, real time currency exchange, stock prices, etc. They have more useful features in the works. Check it out now. Maybe a Blackberry phone+Journal Bar is in your future? Get moving! Work has been unleashed.

I AM excited!
Not mentioned in the audio below is that, last week, I gave a public Wellness Preview to a crowd of people and the response was very positive. I utilized an amazing portable projector to give a computer generated business and product overview using Apple's awesome Keynote software. The crowd was captivated and businesses were built that night. Send me an email if you'd like to arrange my delivering the presentation for your group.
A Brief Recap of the Week.
To learn more about aweber.com you can click here. Aweber will be used to send individuals a emails in a controlled, automated manner when they opt to receive them.
This type of marketing technology, called an autoresponder, could be used with any business. For instance, my work recently had individuals RSVP for a special event. This is the type of event a person would gladly receive updates and information about. Aweber would be able to begin sending a series of premade emails advertising the event, sharing conversations with the manufacturers in advance of the event to help build a level of excitement.
Click on the link to look at the what is being made available from AudioGenerator.com and learn about the technology that allows me to record phone calls that can immediately and easily be posted to the net or in an email.

I Love Google Video!
I have really gotten into google video lately, exploring video files of all sorts. Well, related to this blog's goal of documenting the buildup of an Online Internetwork Marketing business, I have been researching the tools that help make it happen. Alex Mandossian is involved with some very impressive marketing tools such as audiogenerator.com, videogenerator.com and askdatabase.com. I thought I would see if he was featured in Google video. He was. Alex, along with Jack Welch advisor Dr. Michael Hewitt-Gleeson, was one of many faculty members of a three day seminar titled "X10 Seminar" held in Melbourne, NSW, Australia. That was unexpected. I have now been able to attend five of the sessions, held two years ago in the southern hemisphere, about cool thinking and internet marketing. Join me in attendance! Click on any of the above links to learn more about the tools mentioned or view one of the X10 sessions.
Enjoy!

This is exciting! You only need to click on the play button below in order to listen to the audio. Clicking on the link will take you to the same recording hosted on Gabcast's website. I am very excited about this. All I needed to do was sign up for the service, trying their free version for now, point them to my blog, call in, enter a password number and return to my blog dashboard to find the post published for me. I am now editing around it by adding this text and then I can take it live! Voila.

Autoresponders, Podcasts and TNMM
Greetings,
This entry is putting down areas for thought and commentary. Enjoy!
An autoresponder is a service that automatically generates one or a series of emails in response to someone leaving their name on your website. Autoresponders can also be used to email campaign, having the campaign go out on certain dates or according to a timed schedule. For a better descripiton look at this Wikipedia page.
Another idea was the Podcast and a resource pointed me towards Podango. If someone has ideas about how to use this, let me know. Currently, I am more excited about when I will be using the audio feature of this blog. To me, that will be "big time" and an exciting advance.
Last week, I emailed an article to my family from The Network Marketing Magazine. I thought it was useful that I could scroll through their library of articles, find one I liked and get it sent for others to take a look at. Again, I will want to figure out if this feature is efficient, intrusive (I might deem this acceptable), useful or do the articles belong in a newsletter? All of the above, plus, qualities I am not thinking of right now, is probably the answer.
Any useful feedback will be accepted.
Regards,
Graham

Click on the links!
Tonight, I discovered how to edit the template links in the sidebar so I could customize them for my own use. Initially, I am directing you to Pathfinders, a program which helps anyone learn this business one week at a time; The Network Marketing Magazine, a very useful, innovative, online magazine offering great tips and a number of great benefits; My sponsors, Dennis and Ruth Williams, website: ybhurtn.com. Dennis and Ruth are one of only two Royal Ambassador distributorships with my company in the country. I met them last December and they have been instrumental in my journey.
Soon, you'll see a picture of me!

Getting pieces in place...
It is time to figure out video conferencing. In John Kalench's book, "Being the Best You Can Be in MLM" (which is a generic MLM classic but was updated when Mr. Kalench, deceased, put aside his independent consulting practice to work with Nikken as an independent consultant), he described video conferencing as the key to his successful organization. Well, what is old hat to some is new to me. This post declares that video conferencing is a tool to be used to best effect in modern MLM.
My hurdle is understanding how to have video conferencing work for the broadest number of people. To assist with this, I will refer you to an information site that goes into great detail concerning video conferencing between the Mac and PC. Again, I am open to comments, in this case, concerning the usefulness of this link. This post will be referred to in the future as the link to resources anyone might need in order to participate in using video conferencing to share and grow the business.
Now, imagine being able to be virtually face to face with the acknowledged leaders in this industry, discussing Nikken, planning, training and otherwise growing this virtual network marketing organization. Do this from your home, hotel room while on the road, any lobby, coffee shop, etc. as the internet revolution continues to grow in strength.
You'll SEE the results!

Figuring it all out...
I have been here this evening with my friend Ruth explaining what potential I see on the internet as a prospecting/marketing tool. It is helpful to have this conversation because, as I have already pointed out, this is new to me. What is awesome is that Ruth is all of 79 years old and she grasps the power of this! Here we both sit, jaws on the floor, scanning the available tools and imagining the applications for really building something special in our Network Marketing business. Wow.
After my last entry, which included links for the first time(I've since updated earlier posts), I now want to figure out in my computer how to automate, or "script," the insertion of code neccesary to create a link. It looks like inserting a link is a step which only varies slightly according to the website that is being linked to. Apple's scripting software should allow me to "write" a series of steps that will automatically insert the template of code I need to speed up the process. For instance, there is no link in this post because I am at Ruth's, it's time to go, and I would need to re-read the instructions to do it. No time left tonight. A special script would make a one keystroke affair of that task.
This is really fun!

Hi Everybody,
The blue highlighted text in this post is a link to other websites. Another first in my posting!
Today, an exciting new product was introduced by the company I am affiliated with and it promises to be a revolution in functional bracelet technology. Go here for an explanation concerning what this new multi-technology bracelet is about.
Here is a testimony about the new bracelet from Dennis Estes who had a chance to try the product in advance:
"My wife broke her little finger several years ago in a Judo tournament. Recently she had a challenge with stiffness and discomfort. She used the old bracelet and also used the CM Cream but did not have the result she was looking for. When we got the new tri-phase bracelet to try she eagerly put it on because it looked so nice. Four hours later she came into my office expressing amazement that the stiffness and discomfort in her little finger was GONE!
Dennis Estes (Royal Diamond)"
Wow! You can email me for information on how to get this product or learn more about my business and Wellness Home Technology.
Regards,
Graham

Live from Tully's!
I am at Tully's in Bellevue, WA utilizing their new Free Wi-Fi. Just a month ago, this was a paid service. Today, it marks one more place I can go with free access to the internet. There is still the temptation to try a Sprint wireless card for the ability to get online almost anywhere, but my activity level at this point is satisfied with the plethora of businesses offering Wi-Fi for now.
My next task is to figure out how to insert links in this blog of sites I feel will be useful. Whether you think they are or not will be the subject of comments.

Day 3
Well, I spent this evening speaking briefly with a successful Business Builder about how he sees a person building the business today and comparing that to the internet as a possible avenue for prospecting and communicating with an organization. Once I had him started, I just listened. If there was something to learn, I wasn't going to learn through a debate. In other words, he's not convinced. I am not convinced either, only because I don't have my own personal evidence but the evidence does seem to exist that this can be done.
The Business Presentation I attended was only attended by people already in the business. 100% preaching to the choir. I say there is a better way.
The last couple of hours have been spent reviewing some online videos on how to perform SEO (search engine optimization) using a tool I had been exposed to somewhere else called Wordtracker. It is encouraging when this new knowledge I am acquiring begins to get reinforced.

One way or another...
Today, I learned a little bit more about the world of creating leads online through an autoresponder service from www.aweber.com If you know nothing about autoresponders, then you are where I was very recently. One "point" of this blog is to utilize this forum for marketing my business goals and another is to air my attempts of creating an almost virtual business for you to monitor. In this way, others may hopefully learn and share with me their comments and advice. I mean, this is too exciting to ignore.
On a different note, check out this new album by Grammy Award winner Chris Thile, "How to Grow a Woman from the Ground" I contributed to this album when I brought together the album's engineer, Matthew Gephart and Josh Clark of Transparent Audio, a world class audio cable and equipment designer. The results are a "you are there" experience of music making and listening which I'd like to share with you.
Well, feel free to comment. And, feel free to share what I am doing here if you think others might be interested.
Regards to you,
Graham

The Beginning
It always must begin somewhere. In this case, IT refers to my attempt at building a thriving organization through an online community approach. The idea is based on the notion that in today's world, one can be far closer to far more people, applying far less pressure, allowing for far more choice when far more convenience exists for the "prospect." Presentations can be given online anytime, products can be purchased online anytime, individuals can sign themselves up online (keeping SS #'s and Credit Card #'s private) anytime and an already almost virtual business becomes one step closer to being unfathomably ideal.
Exploring this world has been one of the most exciting areas I've discovered since learning about another phenomenon, The Grateful Dead. They, too, ended up with a community around them and I was fascinated by their music and engrossed in the social aspects of being a "Deadhead." But, that ain't what this is about. No, this is where you are invited to come and contribute to, track and learn about what this virtual community is up to. This concept exists out there on the internet but it doesn't exist yet for me so follow my progress, join my team, share this with others as we head out on the virtual highway, unbound by the constraints and the economics of the past, fueled by affordable technologies and a passion for sharing the opportunity to learn and grow as a group!
This is a new wave!
